We are excited to have a second Shoe Tree distribution for our students this year. The normal Shoe Tree Fall distribution is still being planned for the 24-25 school year. A form will be sent out in May for that Shoe Tree. If you are experiencing financial hardship, complete this form for qualifying students, Pre K-8th grade, to receive a free pair of shoes. Students in FACS classes donated money to purchase Christmas gifts for children who live in foster homes. Mrs. Thomas purchased ingredients for S'mores & students could pay to make one after they finished their final exam. All the money that was collected was used for the toys.

On January 5th the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) will recognize Cumberland High School as one of the few consolidated high schools that have surpassed the 1000 win mark for boys basketball. We would like to invite all past/present players, coaches, and fans to attend this event that will take place between the JV and Varsity games that evening. Also, following this announcement we will recognize winter senior participates and their parents.
